FRENCH INSPIRED TRINKET BOX
Black, pink and white say, "La Vie En Rose". The colors and the song can transport me to France. Listen and be there. The inside and top of the box are scrapbook papers, while everything else is acylic paints. The flower embellishments I made with polymer clay and press molds. Once baked, I painted one pale pink and one black and varnished each. The frame for the reproduced aged photo is a Cricut file.

ROSY MAE

Rosy's crown is a foil wrapper I saved from a Valentine's Day chocolate. I placed the foil face down on a piece of foam and them pressed a crown stamp into it. I then filled the back with glue for added strength.

OLD TOWN
I used Folk Art Crackle Medium on this piece to get an aged look. After making a mold with one of my favorite stamps I use the mold to make a polymer clay embellishment. Then I added Dymo embossed tape cut into pieces to spell out "OLD TOWN".

Sir Bo Bear
My sweet little Bear. He's the King of my heart. He gives wonderful
puppy kisses. I could just eat him up. He's soooo cute!

David
David is my youngest. He's my baby that I now have to look up to see. He's a teddy bear. Gives the best hugs. David has a tender heart and though very quiet, knows how to say the right thing to encourage others when they are down. I love him more than words can say.

BLOSSOMING BEAUTY

My darling daughter Annabelle. What a beauty and in every way. She's now eighteen and all grown up. I think she may have been born that way. If there is such a thing as an old soul, I'm sure she is one. I love her dearly.

ROMANCE

This digital scrapbook page includes a photo of my Mom and Dad when they were dating. I tinted the pic in photoshop in addition to cleaning up scratches and such. The paper is another image I copied from a fabric and wallpaper site and enhanced. The other embellishments were freebies off the net. Don't you just love the internet.

Free Fonts here and here. Free embellishments here.

THE PINK CORSET

I wanted to do a piece that was a little grungy, but still feminine. I use a lime green with a burnt umber wash, then added the romance effect with a scroll stamp dipped in burnt umber. I wanted a more blotchy look, so I chose paint over ink. The girl is an image transfer, with certain areas painted with a pink wash to maintain transparency.
Can you imagine having to wear one of these things. What women do for beauty always amazes me. The human waist was never meant to be that small.

BLUE MADONNA

The artist trading card is called Blue Madonna. The embellishment I made with polymer clay and a script stamp. The stars are gum wrappers reinvented. The blue shimmer of the face was created with PearlEx Powdered Pigments-True Blue.

NEW ARTIST TRADING CARD

My new trading card named Wisdom. It's a collage using acrylics, melted crayon, Tim Holtz Distress Powder (Mustard Seed), stamps, and image transfer.

HOMAGE TO DIVINE LOVE

A new page in my art journal. Divine love, the love that doesn't judge, the love that embraces the other as the self, the love that lifts up and soars.

HOMECOMING
My son, David and daughter, Annabelle are all grown up and going to homecoming. Makes a Mama proud! I made Annabelle's dress. She found this glorious acid green taffeta, that we muted down a little with an overlay of black netting. I found this wonderful fabric with a lacy edging (my biggest cost for the dress) that I used for the underskirt. The brooch we found at Pugster.com. They carry a wide variety of vintage brooches, perfect for a bit of retro style.

DIVINE SHOES
Aren't these shoes divine. This is a still shot of the movie Marie Antoinette with Kirsten Dunst. I bought the movie solely on the cinematography and costume design. Everything was done in yummy candy colors. I'm thinking of looking for some pumps at Goodwill and altering them to look like these. Altered shoes...Divine!

Delicious Colors !

DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING PAGE OF YOURS TRULY

This is a self portrait I took in college for a photography class. Many of the elements I created from images off the internet. I often go to wallpaper and fabric sites and make copies that I enhance or alter in Photoshop for background papers. The brooch element was created by takeing a pic I found of a brooch and enhaning it in Photoshop. The cup and bicycle are images I found at ephemera sites.
Great wallpaper site is here.
